Hit-to-Lead

Starts from the hit(s) which are provided by client or taken from prior-art

In-silico evaluation for ADME and druggability of all the analogs

Optimized for in vivo efficacy, selectivity, PK/PD profile, safety and toxicity profile by logical analoging

Scaled up the synthesis to support in vivo efficacy and toxicity studies

Synthesized focused libraries of 350 compounds with 5 to 10 steps in 30 mg scale with the purity >90% in a period of 4 to 5 months

Selection of optimized clinical candidate

Over the last decade, Mascot has synthesized hundreds of different library sets independently or in collaboration with clients in the solution phase and solid phase conditions. The focused libraries were designed and executed to support 'hit-to-lead' studies for integrated programs. We use state-of-the-art instruments to run reactions and purifications in parallel helping us achieve our targets faster with very high purity.

Mascot’s team of material science scientists have developed unique expertise, dedicated to providing a wide spectrum of organic electronic materials for utilization in display, lighting and solar cell products that includes as Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED), Photovoltaics (OPV), Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFT), and Printed Electronics (PE) materials such as conductive printable inks.

Mascot has developed and integrated special competencies for delivering organic electronic materials in ultra-high purity (as high as 99.8%) from grams to kilogram quantities including:
Development of state of the art purification methodologies to remove halogen and heavy metal impurities in ppm levels
Appropriate analytical techniques for Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for sustained target material purity and performance
Special handling protocols for light and air sensitive materials
Novel and efficient multistep routes to complex organic and organometallic materials

Mascot scientists have expertise in synthesizing molecules of diverse multifunctional structures from bench scale to manufacturing such as transition metal complexes and ligands, polycyclic aromatics and hetero aromatics, amines via transition metal catalyzed cross coupling reactions (e.g., Suzuki, Buckwald, and Negishi coupling).
